FICS would like to thank all of the merchants and attendees who helped make the inaugural Marché de Noël a truly outstanding event. Our December 13 Christmas market was such a hit, we are planning on making it an annual affair – the must-have ticket for pre-holiday gastronomy, Champagne and high-end gifts with a French touch.

This gathering at The Washington Club assembled some of the finest chefs in the area to prepare samples of superb seasonal foods – including such traditional French dishes as quenelle de brochet and beef bourguignon, along with paté provencale and mousse supreme. 1 West Dupont Circle Wine & Liquor offered tastes of top-rated Champagnes, and merchants provided an array of unique gift ideas, from exotic teas and Italian scarves to signed cookbooks and fine gourmet tabletop items.
